I guess I've revealed a couple things, but probably not anything that wasn't revealed in the trailer (if there was one). Anyway, if you want to go in totally blind, then I guess HERE BE (minor) SPOILERS.<br/><br/>Just finished watching this cheesy movie that a friend and I were extras in a couple years back. It was actually pretty cute. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The lead is a bad actor,is the love interest. But the subplot of the sidekick becoming a zombie was actually pretty clever and done well enough to be entertaining. And of course it's fun to pick out the locations in New Orleans. The climax scene was shot INSIDE the Saenger Theater–very cool. The Saenger is already gorgeous, but they used CGI to make it look like the roof was missing (fitting, since the ceiling of the Saenger is already painted and lit to look like it's roofless (from the inside). If you're bored and sick or hung over or whatever and you want an easy-cheesy movie, and you love New Orleans, you'll enjoy it. If you're expecting something grand, you'll be disappointed. You've been warned/informed.
Why do i hate this movie?Simple,I am a big Dylan Dog fan.I understand that people write good reviews for this movie because they don't know the character of Dylan Dog,the comic or any thing else.From a non Dylan fan i would give this movie a 6/10.From a Dylan fan perspective i gave it a 3/10 because it had some mediocre stuff.First thing is that almost all the characters are gone.Second they made Dylan such a pathetic guy,he doesn't want to work with nobody,in the comics he almost always works with hot and sexy women witch in this case she is not that hot AND THEY MADE IT A FREAKING COMEDY,wtf.Dylan dog has a little bit comedy from Groucho.Why do people always wanna change the things we love(Groucho).A little detail i want to say is that in the comic books his license plate says DYD 666,THEY Couldn't EVEN PUT THAT,another thing is when the F did Dylan move to America.They just messed up badly.
Some entertaining inventiveness, before nagging limitations finally drag it down.
